We're always looking for ways to give back to our community, and sometimes even the most mundane actions can help to better the world around you. Here at Spectrum Wealth Advisors, one of the ways we do this every day is by collecting the pop tabs from our soda and energy drink cans for our local Ronald McDonald House Charity.
The Ronald McDonald House, also known as "The House that Love Built", has been operating for 40 years to help ensure families with seriously ill children have a quiet, clean, supportive place to stay near hospitals and treatment centers while their children are receiving care. Private rooms are given to the family, and therapeutic and meal programs are available for the length of their stay.
Pop tab collection is a fundraising initiative focused toward community members to raise money and awareness of this amazing charity. After the collected pop tabs are given to the RMHC they are recycled, and the profits from that go directly towards covering the costs of supporting the families staying at the house.
